Blue flowers for a seaside wedding
In summer or spring, at dawn or dusk, whatever your choice for a seaside or beach wedding, it will be an event that will leave its mark: an indelible memory in the minds of the lucky guests who will attend.
This is because the sea air, the landscape, the sky, the beach, and the water are all elements that have an intrinsic something that immediately makes us think of a romantic and carefree atmosphere.
In particular, the colors of the water in the various shades of blue and light blue, evoke relaxation for the body and mind and the installations are also inspired by them floral.
THE blue flowers for a seaside wedding There are many, both because during the summer season (the favorite for a wedding) their variety is greater, and because the color palette we can take into consideration is truly broad: in addition to well-defined colors like blue and light blue, it is worth playing with all the shades, darker or lighter, to arrive at the various tones of green.
In general, it must be said that all shades of blue and light blue have a strong ability to convey positive messages and sensations to our unconscious, and although they are considered cold colors, they can fill places and situations with an enveloping warmth.
Among the Blue and light blue flowers most commonly used for a seaside floral arrangement, there are certainly the hydrangeas, in their incredible varieties: those dark blue, those blue and those faded, up to those total white. Then there are the orchids, i lysianthus whose petals are streaked with very light blue, or purple, for a touch that makes the difference: a hint of blue mixed with red, without man's intervention, is nature that offers them to us in this splendid version.
Not to mention the delphinium Available in a light blue variety or a less common purple one, it can be used in cascades, along with hydrangeas, peonies (only in May-June), and roses, for example to decorate gazebos by the sea, giving the entire arrangement an extremely refined and elegant tone.
And for the most original brides who want to amaze there is the gentian underrated and little-known flower, but with a great effect.
And with the marine theme you can really let your imagination run wild, for example by thinking of using all the natural elements that the sea offers us, such as shells, branches washed ashore by the water (carefully selected and washed), coral, starfish, combining them with transparent glass or plexiglass containers (for a very modern setting), or with amphorae (for a more rustic setting).
Fabrics will also play a key role, such as light organza curtains for the wedding gazebo, but there's more: cushions used as seating directly on the beach, cascades of ribbons in shades of blue, light blue, and white fluttering in the crisp air, linen throws for the gentlemen or colorful pashminas for the ladies to protect themselves from the light breeze.
Other important elements of the marine setting could be, for example, the paddle boats on the seashore, decorated with candles and a few bouquets of flowers to pay homage to the ladies guests at the reception, as well as the torches and candles that illuminate the evening, mirroring a starry night.
What could be more romantic?
