Today we present theArchitect Andrea Gualla, professor of Interior Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Milan Bovisa, will develop topics such as space planning and the basics of Interior Design.
He graduated in 1994 from the Polytechnic of Milan and immediately after began collaborating in the architectural composition course of Professor Pietro De Rossi.
In 2000, together with Jacopo De Carlo, he founded the DeCarloGualla studio with offices in Milan and Aosta. Together, they develop and implement projects for offices, private residences, shops, and showrooms.
2001 will be a year full of satisfaction and professional goals for him, in fact the studio will participate in the “Talents” design exhibition in Frankfurt.
In the same year, he was appointed Chair of Interior Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Milan Bovisa, a chair which is still active today.
DeCarloGualla Studio Awards:
In 2004 they received an honorable mention at the Archès architecture prize for the design and construction of an office building (Relfo spa).
In 2005, they designed and built the new European headquarters in Lugano, Switzerland, for VF International Company. For the same company, they developed numerous Napapijri concept stores around the world.
In 2006 they opened the first Napapijri flagship store in New York, followed by ones in Miami, St. Tropez, Paris, Antwerp and Osaka.
In 2008 they created the Napapijri flagship stores in Madrid and Berlin and the first gallery store on Via Manzoni in Milan.
In 2010 they designed the new concept store for the HOGAN brand for the TOD'S SPA group.
In 2011 they opened the first HOGAN store in Hong Kong and the showrooms in Via Savona in Milan.
In 2012 the Hogan flagship stores in Milan and Paris.
