In May I went again to Sicily to talk about a style that I love so much and that I often propose, even to my brides, for the preparation of their wedding: the Natural Style. A style that allows you to find unique and original ideas for installations And evocative scenography and of great emotional impact.
As always in Sicily I had the support of Valeria La Rocca of Phatos events Valeria and her husband Giuseppe were precise and punctual and helped me coordinate the entire course, from the location to the logistics, down to every detail. They were a precious resource: thank you, and thank you too, because this time they really outdid themselves. The location that hosted us was amazing. Radicepura, in the heart of Sicily, annexed to the family nursery Lighthouse It's an epitome of style, elegance, and professionalism, a dream place, a concentration of unexpected nature, meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail. I literally went crazy!
Thanks also to the partners of this Sicilian edition of the “natural style” course: first of all to Cristina Iacona ; photographer, patient, deeply human and professional; only thanks to her shots I can tell the emotions of this beautiful day, thanks to the very original idea of this young company that created a pencil planter that is, a very fun and eco-friendly pencil, but I won't say anything so as not to spoil the surprise, look how cute it is! But let's get back to the natural style.
I can't stand still. I've always said the world is full of inspiration. I've always tried to capture as much of it as possible, and I've always tried to translate these inspirations into something effective and practical.
I have always started my projects when my plans were already a reality. I have been teaching for over ten years and today the Flower School By Silviadeifiori: Only I, with my imagination and a pinch of self-irony, can call my school's project a start-up...after ten years of activity!

What is Natural Style and how did it come about?
Always in love with nature, driven by a desire to increasingly connect with flowers and more, I've always been drawn to creating compositions using potted plants or fresh flowers, recreating a spontaneous effect and trying to follow the natural movements of the plant materials I choose, inspired by the spontaneous movements of nature.
After having followed and attended courses with curiosity all over Europe, I decided to codify and give a precise method to this style that has always distinguished me.
The Natural Style was born like this, it is the result of a journey of creative studio which I have guarded and developed with love and passion over many years.
I am often asked if you have to be an expert to attend this course, well: it could be your first lesson, your first encounter with flowers because “The natural style” is new and original, it's like starting from scratch!
It was the same for me, because to create a certain result I had to completely overturn the classic rules, seeing floral art from totally different points of view... I'd say it could be easier for a novice, and it could prove to be a nice challenge for an expert used to following certain lines and patterns!
This is the beauty of it! For beginners it is a truly "natural" and instinctive approach to the world of floral art and for experts it is a wonderful stimulus that will make them even more versatile, enriching their panorama and the proposals they can make to their own clients. I would add that an interesting and extremely practical aspect of this style is also the concept of Echo and by echo I mean beyond the appearance ecological, even the one that is so important today economic, eco-friendly And… eco-ntatostyle naturally!
