Thank you Rome!
How beautiful it was, dear Flowers, to find you again March 28th and 29th In the Eternal City? To welcome me back, as always, my dear friend Anna IannoneAnd I couldn't have asked for anything better for these two days of travel: the sun was high in the sky, wonderful company, and... the scent of lemon everywhere!
Yes, exactly lemon! In fact, the theme I chose for the latest edition of the courses “Wedding Flowers: Church" And "Wedding Flowers: Reception" it was the enchanted atmosphere typical of the country lemon groves. I confess that the inspiration came to me instantly while examining the environments and the earthly colours of the Boccea Estate, who kindly agreed to host us for our Roman lessons (a heartfelt hug to his two lovely hosts: Laura And Joan): like a nice sip of granita on a summer afternoon, the installations spring – summer that we have created within the Church of the location and for a original receipt They captured the feeling of freshness I had in mind. And that only green, yellow, and white can convey together, so pleasing to the eye!
The real revelation of the courses was theWhite Iris, a symbol of wisdom and purity: at the beginning, everyone, absolutely everyone, looked at it with suspicion. Will it be suitable for our projects? Will it be easy to work with? Wouldn't it have been better to use classic roses?” Then, however, seeing it perfectly inserted in the context alongside the other plant materials (craspedia, rose, buttercups, viburnum), it was truly impossible not to be enchanted by her grace. They looked like little butterflies flying among us… an indescribable wonder. So you proved me right!
From new attachment techniques to how to cover a bouquet, and through various composition sizes, there weren't just flowers. Thanks to the great connection that was created and the general atmosphere of sharing, we were also able to complete a series of accessories designed for the female universe, brides and bridesmaids. Which ones? Among others, a hair comb and the ring bearer pillow.Foreign ones, of course!
