There are so many ways to decorate with flowers, I love creating real sculptures, sometimes using leaves in a slightly unusual way.
Think and think, here's the idea! Even though I don't have any evenings planned, I want to create a centerpiece for my table. There doesn't always have to be an occasion!
The material I need: white flowers, in this case I used Dendrobium And Dahlias approximately 6/7 stems each, 2 leaves of Chamaerops, sponge, 15cm diameter florist's tambourine-type vase, scissors, shears, knife, wire.
We cut the first leaf into a fan shape, take the second and use the same procedure to make an identical one.
And voilà! Here they are ready! chamaerops leaves
We take the previously soaked florist sponge, cut it to size and insert it into the drum.
Using the shears, cut the stems of the leaves and insert them as horizontally as possible into the central part of the sponge, being careful not to let the stems stick out, otherwise they would not be able to drink.
Remember to join the two ends of the leaves perfectly.
Using the wire cutters, cut a small piece of wire, bend it into a “U” shape, and secure the leaves to the sponge.
Here is the base for our oriental centerpiece ready.
We start by placing the flowers in the center and make sure they can drink from the sponge.
Add the branches, trying to create a staggered design, widening the center with the addition of the dahlias. Use a small knife to create slits in the leaves to insert the flower stems into the foam.
Our oriental centerpiece is ready!
To complete the whole thing I created a smaller reproduction to put next to it
