Christmas Buffet: Ideas for an Original Christmas!

natale rosso

How many ideas do we need to decorate our Christmas? I'd say so many! From the tree to the front door, to a beautiful Christmas fireplace for the luckiest ones, at the table that will host a sparkling and unforgettable dinner, taken care of in every detail and which in addition to a wonderful Christmas centerpiece It will have to have napkin rings, original place cards and, if you want, even more!
In this Christmas my dinner will not be place, I love to give vitality to my dinners and to make them less static I often choose the solution of a Buffet dinner.
How to make a Christmas-themed buffet decoration?
I start with the basic rules, that is, creating a central or lateral point of interest, which will then develop along the entire table without being invasive, creating in this case a fir garland that will wind along the entire length in an elegant and measured way.

To create my Christmas centerpiece I chose first of all warm colors, on green red/orange and a pinch of light with white.
I made the “central” body with fir (a must-have at Christmas!), stabilized beech, coral berries (or rosehip berries will be perfect) and some pine cones.

I created a fir wreath which was then joined to the central body worked in classical style, the garland It ran the length of the table, and I placed plates and cutlery in the spaces created... I then enhanced the whole thing and, as I jokingly say, "Christmasified" it with some beautiful red decorative spheres with Christmas-related writing... how many ideas do I get, and have I gotten, with these wonders?

One of these, very simple to make, are original Christmas placeholders, with the following supplies: wicker baskets, moss, ribbon, florist's sponge, a few sprigs of greenery and some berries, a scrap of Christmas fabric, a pin and a candle.

I placed some filler in the baskets, and on top I created a moss base, making sure the plastic filler wasn't visible.

Once I finished my ribbons, to give them an extra Christmassy touch, I added some small pine cones to the sides.

I took a piece of sponge and cut it with a pastry cutter, in this case into a circle. I covered the sponge base with the fabric, securing it with a simple pin.

At the base I placed some green sprigs and some berries in the center of the composition and I finished it all off by placing a candle in the center.

I placed my spheres on top and then added a bow to them.

Putting it all together, the result will be a warm, welcoming and scenic Christmas table...

Important: A "soft" music, a happy heart and the flavours of the cuisine that pervade our homes will be the final touch for a Christmas full of love and emotion!
