Silvia, but everyone calls me Silviadeifiori. I'm a mother first, and then a... floral art teacher and an Event Designer.
What do I like to do?

When you deal with the training of others, you never have a finish line, but only infinite starting points. AND my job. It is thein my life. I strive to always give more, to stay up-to-date, and to never disappoint the expectations of those who have placed their trust in me for 16 years. Your satisfaction is my fuel.
My goal, however, is to provide through the Wedding School and the Flower school the better preparation To all who wish to embark on this journey: the honor of caring for a dream. The dream of the most beautiful day.
Wedding Designer, you say… But what are the duties of a Wedding Designer?
A good Wedding Designer has three tasks essential: 1) develop the overview of a wedding, keeping in mind the practical needs to carry it out in total safety and with the maximum guarantee of success; 2) implement a uniform and harmonious image project of the event starting from the graphic line up to the installations and scenography; 3) finally, the ultimate goal is that this project reflects the personality of the spouses (so knowing how to listen to them carefully) and leave an indelible memory in everyone's mind.
What's the difference between the well-known professional figure of the Wedding Planner and the still emerging Wedding Designer?
In short: while the Wedding Planner deals with relating to the spouses, planning and coordinating all the workers, the Wedding Designer instead has the task of design and create the image both overall and specific of the eventIn short, it's a less logistical and more creative activity.
As, Wedding Planner And Wedding Designer They reflect two different aspects of the same job: the organizational and the planning/executive aspects. A Wedding Planner can also choose to be a Wedding Designer, and vice versa. However, they must be supported by a good support staff and have comprehensive training.
And what personal characteristics should you possess to approach this new world?
I would say curiosity, humility And sensitivityCuriosity, because you have to draw inspiration from everything. Humility, because you have to be willing to learn from anyone and from any occasion. Sensitivity, to grasp the inspiration the spouses convey as they share their stories: sometimes they don't even know what they want; it's up to us, if we're capable of reading between the lines and their words, to hit the nail on the head and interpret their desires! It takes a lot of tenacity, of course, but I assure you, it's always worth it. After all, the happiness of two lovers is priceless.
Is there room for wedding designers in the Italian job market?
Of course! It's a constantly uphill road; you just need to commit to choosing a serious and appropriate educational path. Field experience will do the rest.
So how does one become a Wedding Designer?
