Wedding bouquet trends for 2018!

The bridal bouquet has always been one of the most important and defining elements of a wedding day.

It accompanies the bride on this unique and special day, from her entrance into the church to the long-awaited moment of her release. It's often the focal point and sometimes a pop of color in the photographs in the wedding album. Let's take a look at some of the 2018 bridal bouquet trends...

Ignoring this detail (which isn't much of a detail!) would be very serious.chosen with the same care reserved for all the other elements of your most important.

What will the bouquets of brides who crown their dreams in 2018 look like? I've divided the suggestions into eight macro areas.

  • Green: Thanks to this year's Pantone, Greenery, the all-green bouquet, composed of foliage and, sometimes, aromatic plants, is all the rage, and will be again next year. These include eucalyptus, fern, lemon leaves, ivy, myrtle, olive tree, and magnolia leaves. The green bouquet is often very large, tied with just a ribbon and with the stems completely exposed. It's natural and deconstructed, as if it were the spoils of a stroll through the fields behind the house.

  • Maxi: The key word lately when it comes to bouquets is "over the top." Go for maxi, then, and make way for giant bouquets, composed of large, distinctive flowers, like proteas or lotus pods. Another must-have these days is the inclusion of a few succulents. Obviously, very large bouquets aren't suitable for throwing, so it's a good idea to plan a second bouquet for throwing.

  • Messy: Forget the classic, well-defined, ball-shaped bouquet. Bohemian, shabby chic, casual, and spontaneous bouquets are all the rage these days. In a word, "messy."

  • Fruity: Another big growing trend is the inclusion of fruit (small apples, lemons, lime slices, mandarins, etc.) or vegetables (artichokes, cabbage) in bouquets.

  • Single flower: They're making a comeback, once in vogue, then gone... today we're seeing a faint hint of a comeback: I'm talking about those bouquets created by assembling many petals of the same flower, until they form a single, huge, flower.

  • Alternative: Not the usual bouquet but compositions mounted on branches or small metal structures, especially copper, to be carried almost like a handbag.

  • With paper: Yes, because paper flowers show no signs of going out of style and are confirmed as a big trend for 2018 too. The bouquet can be made up of only paper flowers or a mix of fresh flowers and paper flowers.

  • Preserved and artificial materials: bouquets made with preserved flowers, real hydrangeas and peach ranunculus. This year, a new trend has emerged: combining high-quality preserved and artificial materials with natural elements. The difference is imperceptible, a great idea for preserving and keeping the bouquet intact over time.

Diamonds, beads, and crystals inserted into roses (or any other flower) are definitely out. We like flowers natural and uncluttered!
